Head on, Australia's leading photography festival, is calling for entries for their annual photography competition. This year, more than $50,000 worth of prizes are up for grabs across three categories: Portrait, Landscape and Mobile. In it's sixth year, the competition seeks to spot Australia's brightest photography talent.

For 2016, the NSW Parliament Landscape Photography Prize will be awarded to the best photograph of a landscape in NSW, and the Head On Student Prize will return – open to any Australian school child enrolled in primary or secondary education.

The prize package includes $20,000 in cash prizes, new Fujifilm products, including the Fujifilm XPro2, Fujifilm XT1 and Fujifilm X100T, a membership to the Australian Institute of Professional Photography and much more.

As well as the photo competition, Head on promises an extensive program of workshops, presenters and community events for all levels of photographer.

The deadline for entries for the Head on photo competition is 14 February 2016, with the winners announced at the festival's opening night in Sydney.
