The Australian Centre for Photography (ACP) is giving students the chance to explore the great outdoors with two new photography courses focusing on landscape and night photography.

The Magic of Night Photography taught by Peter Solness and Murray Vanderveer and Adventures in the Landscape taught by Murray Vanderveer offer students the chance to improve their photography and creativity over five three-hour courses over five weeks.

'Adventures in the Landscape' explores the visual story of the landscape with practical advice to help students plan, pre-visualise and shoot dramatic landscape photographs. Included in the course are two outdoor sessions including an excursion to Middle Head National Park where students learn how to capture sunrise images that are more than tourist snaps.

'The Magic of Night Photography' includes two night photography sessions with a Photoshop session for post-production enhancement, and a visit to Pixel Perfect. Peter Solness, the master of 'light painting' demonstrates how to use torch light to bring night scenes to life.

The Australian Centre for Photography is located at 257 Oxford Street, Paddington, NSW.
