Samyang Optics has unveiled a new 135mm f/2.2 prime lens which will be available for Canon EF, Nikon F, Sony E, Arri PL and Micro Four Third (Olympus and Panasonic) mount cameras in August.
The Xeen 135mm T2.2 is one of six Xeen lenses in the Samyang lineup designed specifically with 4K+ video pplications in mind.
Other Xeen lenses in the range include the 14mm T3.1, 24mm T1.5, 35mm T1.5, 50mm T1.5 and 85mm T1.5.
Like the other lenses in the Xeen range the 135mm T2.2 is built around a 24 x 36mm image circle so it is compatible with full-frame cameras, as well as Super 35, APS-C and APS-H format cameras.
The lens is expected to be available in August with a recommended retail price of EUR 2,200 (A$3,250).
