Macphun set to release Aurora HDR 2017

Macphun is set to launch a new version of its HDR software, with Aurora HDR 2017 set to go on sale late next month.

A new web page from Macphun asks interested parties to register their name and email address for more information, with a countdown clock indicating that the software will be available for preorder on 15 September 2016 with the official launch on 29 September.

According to the website photorumors.com the new platform will include new batch processing tools, a reworked tone mapping algorithm, improved bracketed image-merging technologies, a polarise filter, and a new collection of image presets.

Aurora HDR 2017 will be available for $89, though current users of Aurora HDR Pro and Aurora HDR can upgrade for $49 and $69 respectively.
