Canon's new M6 mirrorless camera features a 24-megapixel sensor and a selfie-friendly tilting LCD
Canon has added a new camera to its mirrorless lineup, the EOS M6, which will sit between the M5 and M10 in the company's growing M-series range.
The new camera, which is expected to be available in Australia at the end of March, is built around a 24-megapixel, APS-C, sensor and includes a tilting LCD touchscreen which allows users to view the screen and compose images while taking stills and videos of themselves.
Unlike the M5, there is no built-in EVF though an optional viewfinder (EVF-DC2) is available. The M6 can capture up to 7 frames per second (9 with AF Lock) and uses Canon's new Dual Pixel CMOS autofocus system, which debuted with the Canon EOS 70D. In movie mode, the M3 can shoot Full HD (1920 x 1080) videos at 60fps.
Australian pricing is yet to be announced.
