Photographer's Comments: My son was swimming in the pool and decided to rest under the waterfall. As it was a windy day the water was being blown about while it was falling. He is not always a willing subject for my photography, and I think his eyes say it all in this photo.

Hi Theresa,

This is a great little image; I love the confrontation between the boy and the lens. That moment in time with the water framing his face is also rather good.

I only have one problem with this image though, and that is the rather flat tones... as I look at it on my screen I cannot help but feel there is a mist over the image.

And simplest way the quickest to make this image look good is to use the Auto Levels control...  this simply sets the white and black point for the image and very quickly that misty look disappears.
