Fujifilm announce new 8-16mm f/2.8 lens

The lens announcements keep coming from Fujifilm, with the Japanese-company announcing the widest X-series zoom to date, the XF 8-16mm F2.8 R LM WR.

Inside, the lens has a total of 20 elements, including four aspherical, three ED and three Super ED, plus a Nano GI coating to help reduce ghosting and flare. There's also a nine-blade aperture and a minimum focus distance of 25cm. The lens is sealed against dust and moisture. 

The lens is due to be available locally in November 2018 and will retail at $3,199 RRP.
