Fujifilm announce 200mm f/2 lens and teleconverter

Fujifilm has announced a new telephoto - the Fujinon XF 200mm F2 R LM OIS WR telephoto lens.

Externally the lens features a 'matte silver' body, and also gets weather protection against dust and moisture. The lens also ships with an electric green-ringed lens hood.

Inside, there's 19 elements, including one Super ED and two ED elements, and the front glass features a fluorine coating to help repel fingerprints and water. There's also in-built image stabilisation, good for a 5-stop reduction, and linear motors to keep focus efficient.

The lens will ship with the newly announced XF 1.4X TC F2 WR teleconverter, which boosts the focal length of the lens to 280mm, while pushing the maximum aperture a stop to F2.8.
